Discovered in Canada, Labradorite is known to heighten mystical awareness and improve otherworldly perception in its wearers. It is a stone of protection and of self-introspection. The Inuit believed it harnessed the Aurora Borealis. Many believe this gem improves their personal environment, too, leading to happier interactions with friends, family, and co-workers. The Throat Chakra receives the most benefit from this stone. Labradorite is a natural birthstone for Pisces. However, it is neither a traditional nor zodiac sign birthstone - although those born under the Cancer sign do find themselves drawn to it.
