While he slept, author Mark Tyler Watts accidentally unleashed a creature from his stories into the world. The cannibalistic Atahsaia attacked and horrifically killed two women in town. By the time Watts realized it was from his own stories, more creatures had been let loose, all seeking flesh and destruction.
Partnering with spiritualist Victor “Vic” Marzio, Watts seeks out the creatures to destroy them and put them back where they belong: on the page. Yet after they destroy his written works, the creatures continue to make their presence known. Soon his best friend is attacked, and Watts begins to wonder if they can fix the catastrophe he’s released upon the world.
